Stump 1-Man Assembly Instructions

- 1. Take your Green Treated 4x4's and slide them into
the steel pockets. Run the 4x4 legs up until sit in the molded groves. Take
the lag bolts and screw them into the 4x4 legs through the holes in the 4x4
steel pockets. Two lag bolts for each pocket. Once the lag bolts are in, take
2 x 4's and frame up your legs then you are ready to stand up your Stump.
- 2. We suggest you dig the 4x4 legs into the ground at
least two feet or below your suggested frost line. The higher your stand is in
the air the further you should dig it into the ground. Proper back fill in
the holes is required and packing it in good is necessary. Your type of soil
in your area can also be a determinant on how deep you should dig in your
legs. We don't suggest going higher that 10 ft. in the air.
- 3. Once you have the Stump set up on its legs you must lag
bolt the top of the green treated 4x4. Crawl into the stump and screw down
from inside the Stump on top of the groove into the top of the 4x4. Make sure
the 4x4 are level before screwing down into the top of them. Use a washer on
the lag bolt when tightening the lag bolt down.
- 4. We suggest for any legs over 6' high to put a series of
2x4's between the legs for cross bracing to tie them all together and give
more stability in your legs.
- 5. Manufacturer suggests a maximum height of 10 feet.
- 6. You are now ready to start hunting out of the Stump. Good Luck!
